AboutWey

(Fully Vaccinated on June 17th, 2021)

I believe massage is not a contest. It's not about how much pressure I can give or how much pressure you can take. Massage therapy is about calming your nervous system, which directly reduces your pain sensation while lengthening and  softening tight muscle fibers and bringing you awareness of tension areas that you may not even know you have. Massage therapy is also an excellent sensory experience. Caring human touch can certainly nurture your mind and soul, greatly reducing your stress level and adding something to look forward to in life.  Getting massaged at least once a month is highly recommended.

My Style

Clients often ask me if I do "Swedish" or "Deep Tissue" massage. My answer is I do "Wey Massage." The goal of massage therapy is to achieve maximum relaxation while releasing tension in troubled areas. As an experienced therapist, I will use my best judgment to achieve that goal by choosing the appropriate techniques. I often incorproate soothing Swedish techniques, Chinese Acupressure stimulation, Sports Massage stretching and muscle fiber lengthening.

Human Touch

Our skin carries so much history, and our breathing and body language show who we are. These are things a machine cannot duplicate or mimic. Let my intuitive hands lead you into a world of relaxation and self-discovery so you can begin to relieve stress and tension - physically and emotionally.

Massage Pressure

Massage therapy is not a contest. The effectiveness of massage should not be judged by how deep the pressure is. My work focuses on directing circulation to the heart and using techniques that cross or lengthen the muscle fibers to release adhesion and promote a better range of motion. I use enough pressure to get into different layers of muscle. If you need more than what is necessary to promote healing, then we might not be a good match.
